Shoes and Boots.
Winter (June) in Brazil with a drop in temperature, so I am changing light shoes for boots and thick socks to face the cold, especially first thing in the morning.

Work in progress in the mental health junk journal.
Just messed it up royally. Lol
I tried to add a wash but it was really streaky. So tried to wipe it off.
Sigh.

Time for an 🥹 I am a struggling Swedish artist with two crazy cats. I enjoy long walks on the beach, muttering like an old grumpy man and avoiding people. The cats I am serving have hobbies such as wreak havoc, trash the curtains and open the cupboards.

This is an acrylic painting I made the other day. I call it "Hypochondria" because I was feeling quite neurotic because of some unidentified health issues 😅🤦🏽‍♀️

I got the Arttx markers used. I'm a derp for not seeing in the listing that two markers were missing. (There was no mention of the swatching chart and the labeling stickers missing. So I have to solve a puzzle.)

Idk how I should note this in the review?

But the cool thing is you can buy individual replacements for the markers! So many small art brands don't do this so I was amazed. Now to find which ones I'm missing...

This little display stand is an experimental prototype inspired by having made some tiny rechargeable lights. Lit from below, the 1-inch acrylic cube transmits the light to provide under-lighting for whatever sits on top of it. This could likely be done better with a custom circuit board with surface mount LEDs, but this was a fun way to make a quick one-off prototype without fabricating boards.

There is a bottle cap with a Celtic spiral design engraved on it leaning against the stand to show scale. Shown against a defocused background of handmade paper with fiber inclusions. “The Artist and his Daughter Resting before Resuming the Journey” • on wood panel 14” x 15”

“The Artist and his Daughter Resting before Resuming the Journey” is an acrylic painting of a man leaning against a tree sleeping while his young daughter wrapped in a towel sits next to him looking engagingly at the viewer. The two figures rest along a path in a strange landscape while various animals observe them.
