I completely forgot to put it up here :x This was a revisit to a super ancient piece I did fifteen years ago and figured now was a good time to do so. I'm pretty happy with how the composition came out along with the body pose on here. I may do more theme song pieces in the future as this was fun to do once again :'>

Here we have Dolly, Babylon, Avalon, and Curly sleeping with each other on the floor. It's clear Dolly had been working on making a star chart earlier with the tools close by. An astrolabe is being used as a paper weight at the moment to keep it from rolling up. Nearby are two Moomin comic books, apparently reading them before having to go to sleep shortly after.

Turned on some good music last night and played around in my sketchbook - just reacting to the sound, rhythms, words. This came out of that. It's a mess but it was fun.

New clock. Mostly epoxy. I added polypropylene fibers to the epoxy, but IMO in this case it turned out to be a bad idea. I glued bamboo toothpicks to the back to reinforce the stems. I filled in the numbers with (thick) acrylic paint.

I kept my workload low, to preserve my spoons.

Well, do you have sweets on you? Sweets are a very good option to offer with. Babylon, Avalon, and Curly are wearing similarly styled dresses with their own twists in pink, blue, and yellow for each one with rose accents complimented with butterfly wing collars. Dolly is in a dark green, tiered knee length dress with sheer green sleeves accented with leafy vines and complimenting the outfit are double cherry roses. Dolly is seated on a chair as she is baffled by all this.

Grunge, 30.5 cm x 28 cm, 2025.

Oh that ominous blank white canvas. I don't know about my colleagues, but when I paint, I move the instruments so quickly, that I need to stop sometimes and hold back the ideas for a couple of minutes. It is a bit like the moment when you bite into a delicious dish after long hours of not eating: truly, there is not bigger inspiration than a blank sheet. This time I wanted to continue experimenting with this worn-out style, to smuggle as much "dirty" movement into a small piece as much as possible, without mixing the main colours into something bad looking. I am actually quite satisified how it ended, even flashing the texture of the canvas here and there.

I had this panel waiting for something to happen with it and an idea came to me suddenly what to do with it the other evening. I like those sudden ideas. I have some brown craft paper left over from some packing around some new window shades we recently got so I cut strips of some of it and am glueing them onto a section of the panel using some blue acrylic paint for glue. I am attaching each strip over each other.

Paint is diluted with water for emulsion enough to use with nib, mixed thoroughly for correct thickness.
