During the pandemic, people claimed it was their tradition to allow diseases to spread from airport to airport because of their "belief" in a religion. This is what we are up against, disease spread via #airplanes that a religion never had.
Another data point - flights to/from #Japan and the #UnitedStates #US are the cheapest I've seen since, basically, the border reopened to tourism back in 2022.

The plane that crashed in India is a #Boeing Dreamliner. It's the most sophisticated plane in the world & has an excellent safety record - this is the 1st fatality for the Dreamliner.
There were several things that disturb me - The landing gear never was retracted. The flaps did not appear to be set for a take off, tho it's hard to see for sure from the video. These are all things the crew would have been alerted to.
