Hmm I thought I ought to post another oil painting here. Today, I was doing a demonstration session at the school where I teach regularly. Another teacher graciously sat for me and I had to talk for three hours straight while also trying to put something on the panel! I was able to smear up some sort of face in the end and people seemed to be happy and entertained. Not bad!

Searching for something to listen to while painting, I remembered the Lockwood & Co. live-action adaptation, which I had found quite enjoyable.
So I gave the Screaming Staircase audiobook a try, and only put my brushes down when the book ended. That's how much of an enjoyable book it was.
By that time, most of the useful light had gone anyway, and several body parts were queuing up to complain.
There were only a few finishing touches to add, which could wait until the next day.
