I've not knit w/ this yarn. But I have knit w/ plenty of her exclusive yarns & they're great. This line has natural color hair, *not dyed* but color sorted *all natural* alpaca (softer than wool).
A woman-owned business, she has contracts w/ peruvian(?) #farmers (of #sheep #wool, #alpaca), & sorts, processes, & dyes the yarns overseas. I just returned from feeding the #MudBrothers & the #lambs.

As I came through the gate they rushed towards me - normal.

Ozzie (the older, white #alpaca) then spotted I had a bucket of crushed lupins on me.

He reared up on his hind legs & then head butted my shoulder! Not normal.

I’m not that stable on my legs at the best of times & his head butt sent me into the fence.

#NotHappy.

Alpacas are big. Getting headed butted by a rearing alpaca is not recommended.

Chaser the alpaca living up to his nickname - MudBrother. Mud down either side & down his back. The alpacas like rolling in mud, dust, sand - they just like rolling.

A white alpaca is standing in a pasture. It has just scratched its head with its right hind leg, which is why the leg is bent and slightly raised.

Now the same alpaca has almost lowered its hind leg. But the really funny thing is its face. It looks like it's about to throw up. Maybe it realised while scratching that it had stepped in poo! 😂

Very cool this morning, so I've brought out my #clan #tartan & one of my #alpaca #beanies. #TouchNotTheCat

@sysosmaster I think the 2019 #aprilfools joke from #Kampen still beats it. They where holding a #pageant, Miss Kampen,... for #cows. The best part of the joke, no one knew if it was true or not until they went to the event to see.

But it was true. Whole city full of cows. It was awesome.

Oh, and there was a guy who signed up his #alpaca because the "sign-up form did not have a check if it is a #cow". The organisers only found out when he got there. She got disqualified for not being a cow.
