Last night, my husband & I were talking about how some friends don't support decisions you make to better yourself.

Calling you a sell out if you take a more professional position. Calling you a quitter if you stop smoking or drinking.

Anyway, we agreed that, most of the time, at best they are afraid of losing you and at worst they don't want the bar to be raised for themselves.
