#amiberry just got support for custom bezels as well now!
The upcoming #Amiberry v8 release is getting closer and closer...
Meanwhile, did you know that it now runs on more platforms?
- An Android version is being tested and will be ready soon.
- macOS is now a universal app, instead of two separate ones
- FreeBSD is supported
- There is also a Windows version now
Additionally, JIT for ARM64 has been updated to support 64-bit addressing, among other things. This makes it possible to have macOS and Android support, for the first time.
#Amiberry project February update: https://ko-fi.com/post/Amiberry-February-update-T6T51UKM5U
After 5 days if intense debugging, it looks like I may have finally gotten JIT for ARM64 to work on the latest #Amiberry codebase!
At least, my tests all pass without a crash :)
This next release will be epic!
PS: next goal: make it work on macOS also
Roguecraft DX got released!

Since it comes in WHDLoad format, there needs to be an update in #Amiberry's XML to recognize it. Until that happens, here's the relevant snippet if you want to add it to your XML file yourself:

Big problem here! I need the Fediverse shared knowledge 🙏
Today I was willing to test my #Amiga game on #Amiberry emulating a plain A1200 + 2Mb Fast, but something odd appened.
I noticed the problem because mods playback was stuttering, then I noticed the FPS counter that was on 50 mostly but with frequent drops around 40.
The emulated CPU is busy at 20%, the host CPU is busy at 40%.
I thought it was because I'm on Wayland so I tried the SDL_VIDEODRIVER trick but had no luck.

Amiberry Host Tools is a collection of AmigaOS tools designed to bridge the gap between the Amiberry emulator and the host operating system (Linux, macOS, etc.).
Thanks @midwan
I've just published a new version of the Host-Tools suite!
These are tools designed to provide a better experience for #Amiberry users, by utilizing the host OS for some features from inside AmigaOS!

#Amiberry has been ported to AROS!
https://arosworld.org/infusions/forum/viewthread.php?thread_id=1744&pid=10289
The WinUAE-based Amiga emulator Amiberry has been ported to AROS 64-bit in a first alpha version, giving AROS a modern emulator of its own. According to AROS developer Krzysztof 'deadwood' Śmiechowicz, despite its alpha status, the version is "actually functional and stable, especially for gaming/WHDLoad configurations".
Amiberry-lite is an Amiga emulator based on WinUAE 4.4 and, unlike its big brother Amiberry, is designed for slower hardware – down to the Raspberry Pi 4. Changes in version 5.9.1:
RPI-OS "Trixie" has finally been released: https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/operating-systems/
For #Amiberry users, this is already supported since the previous release of both editions. Just pick the "trixie" Debian package from the Release page.
New version of #Amiberry-Lite is now out: https://ko-fi.com/post/Amiberry-Lite-5-9-0-is-out-R5R41LM27A
