Every day for the past two weeks there's been some pointlessly stupid issue with micro.blog's platform.
Whether it's about images being down-scaled to potato quality, or png files not showing up on the photos page, or the timeline only showing five posts with no pagination, or ten other simply unnecessary problems which have been solved a hundred times over in the blogging world... I do not want to debug these things. I want to post words, attach photos, and pin some categories. It's extremely simple, and yet that's just too complicated for their engine to provide consistently.
I'm completely out of patience with the platform, with debugging theme variables, with reading excuses on the help forum, and I just don't care enough to monetarily support this type of programming anymore. Using mkdocs and rsync was less hassle, but that's not the solution.
So I'm migrating elsewhere, using time and effort that should be spent doing literally anything else.
