Iran Unleashes Massive Bombing Campaign on Zionist Regime, Palestine and Yemen Attack

For the second day, air raid sirens sounded across the occupied Palestinian territories on Saturday evening following missile launches from Iran, as the Zionist Home Front Command instructed settlers to remain in shelters.

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps announced that their Aerospace forces launched a new complex operation, involving both drones and missiles.

The IRGC’s Aerospace forces used Imad, Badr, and Khaybar missiles and drones in its latest attacks on Tel Aviv and Haifa, launching a wave of attacks as part of Operation True Promise 3.

Zionist media confirmed that the Iranian missiles targeted facilities in Haifa, in the north of occupied Palestine, where loud explosions were heard across the city after several rockets struck. Fires reportedly broke out across different facilities in Haifa, including oil refineries.

The sound of air raid sirens was concentrated in Haifa and its surrounding areas, with alarms activated in the Karyot region north of the city as well as in its southern districts, while sirens also blared in al-Nasira and nearby areas, including Afula, Upper al-Jalil, and Western al-Jalil.T

The new wave of ballistic missiles was launched toward the occupation entity from multiple provinces across Iran.

Iranian state television reported that Iran had launched 100 missiles toward the occupation entity, adding that Iran’s air force was carrying out a combined attack using both ballistic missiles and drones.”

Reports claim that this is the largest Iranian missile attack targeting the occupied territories, emphasizing that information suggests that Tehran is using a new type of missile in its operation.

A massive Iranian drone and missile offensive also struck deep into occupied Palestine, with air raid sirens sounding repeatedly across various cities and settlements amid fears of continued infiltration by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as Iran continued its retaliation as part of Operation True Promise 3.

Multiple Iranian projectiles scored direct hits on central Tel Aviv, resulting in significant destruction, injuries, and widespread panic.

Zionist media reported that at least six sites in “Tel Aviv” were struck directly by Iranian missiles, including a high-rise tower in the greater Tel Aviv area, causing extensive damage and fires. In Bat Yam, an occupied city just south of Tel Aviv, heavy destruction was reported following direct impacts from Iranian missiles, with dozens of buildings damaged and flames engulfing several structures.

Meanwhile, emergency services have updated the casualty toll from the strikes on Bat Yam and Rehovot. In Bat Yam, 130+ people were injured and 7 killed at the time of this writing. Over 35 people were reported as being stuck under the rubble. In Rehovot, 28 were injured, including two seriously and seven moderately.

The Magen David Adom reported a severe shortage of blood units, calling for urgent blood donations among settlers in the wake of the Iranian strikes.

The Zionist emergency services reported that firefighting teams were operating in Gush Dan in central occupied Palestine as well as occupied al-Quds in a bid to extinguish the fires started by the Iranian missiles.

According to Zionist media, sirens were sounded in Bisan four times in just a few hours, following alerts of potential drone incursions. Simultaneously, residents in the Afula area south of Lake Tabarayya reported hearing explosions after Zionist warplanes scrambled to intercept drones approaching from the east.

Iranian drones swarm the occupation

One Iranian drone reportedly crashed near Afula, while additional UAVs were detected flying across occupied northern and central areas. Zionist media confirmed that sirens were also triggered in settlements south of Lake Tabarayya, as well as in Asdod, Beit Yam, and Rehovot, amid fears of further drone and missile attacks.

Explosions were heard between Netanya and Tel Aviv, with massive blasts reportedly shaking the heart of Tel Aviv itself. Reports indicate direct hits on residential buildings, with Iranian missiles striking Bat Yam and igniting fires, as well as Rehovot in central occupied Palestine.

In what Zionist commentators described as a “composite attack,” Iran deployed both ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones in synchronized waves, severely testing the occupation’s air defenses and crisis response systems and essentially spreading them thin.

At the same time, air raid sirens have been sounding almost continuously in various settlements and cities, as Iranian drones remain active in the airspace of several areas in the occupied territories. According to one Zionist media platform, “Yemen appears to be participating in the assault.”

It seems clear Yemen was firing drones and ballistic missiles in tandem.

Iran missile barrage sets fire to Weizmann Institute lab

The Weizmann Institute of Science, one of the occupation’s leading research centers, sustained damage during Iran’s missile barrage targeting central Palestine, according to The New York Times. Images shared with the paper show at least one laboratory building engulfed in flames.

Zionist media also reported that a building housing laboratories for the institute had caught on fire, leaving people stuck in the building.

Iran’s Fars News Agency has disclosed the type of missiles used in the latest round of retaliatory strikes launched by the Islamic Republic against the occupation, confirming that the projectiles were equipped with high-explosive warheads designed for precision targeting.

According to the report published Sunday, the IRGC employed tactical guided ballistic missiles in the recent attack on Tel Aviv. The missiles were identified as belonging to the Hajj Qassem class, named after the martyred commander Hajj Qassem Soleimani. These missiles are solid-fueled and highly maneuverable, making them difficult to intercept and ideal for striking specific military and strategic targets.

Fars emphasized that the warheads carried by the Hajj Qassem missiles were specially designed high-explosive payloads, used to maximize the destructive effect on carefully selected targets deep within occupied territories.

Palestinian Resistance continues attacks

The military wing of Hamas, al-Qassam Brigades, released new combat footage documenting targeted operations as part of its ongoing campaign titled David’s Stones, including a direct strike on a Merkava tank in southern Khan Younis.

According to the footage, fighters used a Yassin-105 anti-tank shell to target the tank near Abu Sharakh junction, amid continued confrontations with occupation forces along various axes of incursion. The video also showed mortar attacks on Zionist troop concentrations in multiple areas of Gaza.

In a separate operation documented by al-Qassam, fighters reportedly destroyed a bulldozer, a Bagger, using a powerful improvised explosive device (IED) in the Tel al-Zaatar area, east of Jabalia refugee camp, on May 29. The group said the blast killed the vehicle’s operator, confirming the outcome after the fighters returned safely from the combat zone.

Occupation comes under deadly ambush

Al-Qassam also revealed footage of a complex ambush carried out in al-Atatra, Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza. The operation targeted a unit barricaded inside a house, striking the site with a TBG shell, reportedly causing casualties among the Israeli force.

In the same engagement, Resistance fighters also hit another Merkava tank with a Yassin-105 and detonated an IED under a D9 bulldozer, destroying its turret and injuring its crew.

Separately, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, al-Quds Brigades, published footage of their own operation north of Khan Younis, where a  military vehicle was blown up using an IED assembled from repurposed remnants of Israeli weaponry.

Al-Quds Brigades also confirmed they had detonated a minefield targeting a Zionist sapper unit east of Khan Younis on Thursday, adding to the growing number of tactical strikes against advancing occupation forces.

One Zionist soldier was killed and another was wounded in clashes with the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza on Saturday, according to Israeli media.

Occupation media reported on Saturday that an occupation soldier was killed and another critically wounded during clashes in Gaza, describing it as a “serious security incident,” as battles continue across the Strip.

This comes as Palestinian Resistance fighters continue their operations across Gaza, launching ambushes and inflicting casualties upon occupation troops.

Days earlier, the occupation army admitted that four soldiers were wounded in two separate incidents during clashes in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.

Sayyed Houthi Underlined Palestinian Resistance Feats against Zionist Enemy in Gaza

Head of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement Sayyed Abdul Malik Badreddine Al-Houthi indicated on Thursday that the extermination rate among the population in Gaza has reached nearly 9% — an extremely high and unprecedented level in modern warfare.

In a televised speech, Sayyed Houthi maintained that the American enemy is engineering this extermination through starvation, coupled with mass killing via death traps and execution centers.

The “Israeli” enemy is forcing Palestinians to choose between dying of hunger or approaching so-called aid distribution centers to be killed, he noted, adding that targeting those waiting for aid is among the most heinous crimes and worst forms of exploitation.

Sayyed Houthi pointed out the “Israeli” enemy has blocked aid entry through the United Nations for over 100 days to turn its centers into traps of extermination and execution.

“Zionists continue almost daily storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque, performing their Talmudic rituals, mocking dances, and expressing hostility toward Islam and Muslims.”

The “Israeli” decision to build 22 new settlements in the West Bank equates to a massive land seizure, he added.

“Practically, building new settlements ends the concept of a “two-state solution” as promoted by the UN and others. The Israeli enemy never intended to implement a two-state solution — it was merely a tactic of deception.”

Sayyed Houthi emphasized that the brave fighters in Gaza continue to confront the “Israeli” enemy with strength and effectiveness, inflicting direct losses, adding that there are precise, successful ambushes, and the enemy’s weekly losses testify to the effectiveness of these operations.

“Al-Qassam Brigades conducted over 16 diverse operations this week, including targeting vehicles and sniping enemy soldiers. The weekly losses of the Israeli enemy are significant, highlighting the resistance’s bravery, steadfastness, and impact.”

All Lebanese should rally further around the Resistance in Lebanon and Hezbollah as the true safeguard against the “Israeli” threat, Sayyed Houthi maintained.

“The support front from Yemen, the land of faith and jihad, continues its military operations in the battle of the Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad, striking deep into occupied Palestine.”

Our operations this week are part of the continuous effort to impose an aerial blockade on the “Israeli” enemy, Sayyed Houthi maintained.

“Our forces aim to achieve this aerial blockade in response to the enemy’s escalation and its genocidal crimes. The naval blockade in the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, and Bab Al-Mandeb remains ongoing; navigation for the Israeli enemy is banned, and it has ceased operations in the area of engagement.”

Yemen Pushes US Navy to Limits with Advanced Drone, Missile War

A $67 million F/A-18 Super Hornet crashed into the Red Sea on May 6 after a landing malfunction aboard the USS Harry S. Truman, marking the third jet lost by the carrier in under five months, an incident that, according to The Wall Street Journal, unfolded just hours after President Trump abruptly declared a ceasefire with Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement, leaving Pentagon officials scrambling to respond.

Deployed since December 2024, the USS Truman has been at the center of the Red Sea naval war 2025, tasked with containing Yemeni missile and drone attacks. This high-stakes mission has evolved into one of the most intense maritime operations in decades, highlighting the US Navy’s growing vulnerability in modern asymmetric warfare.

The crash, described by Navy officials as “unprecedented”, has further raised concerns about operational strain and systemic risk within the Truman strike group, as per the report. In addition to three jet losses, the group has also experienced a collision at sea. The Navy and Central Command (Centcom) have not publicly addressed the causes under investigation.

Trump’s ceasefire announcement with Ansar Allah, delivered without Pentagon coordination, shocked senior defense officials. Military leaders fear that the abrupt halt could compromise leverage in a campaign where the US has invested over $1.5 billion in munitions and deployed roughly 30 ships, or 10% of its active fleet.

YAF reshapes modern naval warfare

Ans

The Red Sea’s narrow geography plays to Ansar Allah’s advantage. US ships, often within visual range of the Yemeni coastline, struggle to maneuver freely. Former Navy strategist Bryan Clark warned that “you make it a sitting duck out there and within range of Houthi weapons.” The terrain and persistent threat environment have upended traditional assumptions about naval dominance.

Sounding alarms over long-term effects

Military leaders and lawmakers alike are sounding alarms over the campaign’s long-term effects. The USS Truman aircraft crash is just one sign of broader fatigue. Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) warned during a May 14 hearing that “this persistent operational tempo comes at a cost,” citing delayed maintenance, overstretched crews, and diverted attention from China.

The Navy’s attempt to sustain high-intensity operations led to the establishment of a rearming port in the Red Sea, an unprecedented move that officials described as “game-changing”. Yet, even with that logistical breakthrough, readiness concerns persist, and the US Navy’s Red Sea strategy faces scrutiny from within, the report stressed.

Earlier in the campaign, two Navy SEALs were lost off Somalia during an “interdiction operation targeting Iranian missile components.” The 10-day search ended in the US Central Command announcing that the two missing Navy SEALs were deceased, adding to the toll on US personnel.

Operation Rough Rider and strategic recalibration

Initial US strikes on Ansar Allah targets were hampered by cautious engagement rules under the Biden administration. When Trump assumed office, Centcom chief Gen. Erik Kurilla was granted direct authority to escalate operations. This led to Operation Rough Rider, an expansive campaign involving F-35s, stealth bombers, and additional carrier strike groups.

In just 53 days, hundreds of Yemenis were reportedly killed, key infrastructure destroyed, and weapons stockpiles eliminated, the report claimed. Still, the Ansar Allah movement endured, as per the report. Civilian casualties surged, with the Yemen Data Project citing hundreds of deaths, prompting Centcom to open investigations.

Ansar Allah has adapted swiftly. Their missile and drone attacks became more coordinated and varied, shifting from predictable high-altitude launches to low-flying, night-time raids. In one dramatic incident, the USS Stockdale intercepted four ballistic missiles during a tense nighttime exchange. Over a dozen Reaper drones, each valued at $30 million, have been lost.

The Trump Yemen ceasefire may signal a shift in approach, but questions remain about its durability, as per the report. A US officer familiar with the situation, expressing amazement at the group’s resolve and ability to adapt, acknowledged, “Their missiles are getting more advanced, which is crazy. So far, the US Navy is batting a thousand [on interceptions], and I expect that to continue, but for how long?”

ar Allah fighters, often operating from caves and improvised launch sites, have reshaped naval warfare by deploying drones and missiles, becoming the first non-state group to use anti-ship ballistic missiles in combat. Their evolving tactics, The Wall Street Journal reported, mirror the drone-driven transformation of warfare seen in Ukraine, enabling relatively low-cost operations against a technologically superior adversary.

Ansarallah Targets Ben Gurion Airport, Seek to Impose Full Ban on Air Traffic

The Rocket Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a top-tier military operation targeting Lydd Airport, also known as Ben Gurion Airport in the occupation entity, in the occupied area of Yafa (Tel Aviv) with a hypersonic ballistic missile, spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced on Sunday.

Saree confirmed that the operation successfully achieved its objective, forcing millions of Zionist settlers into shelters and halting operations at the airport.

Three YAF operations against vital Zionist sites

Additionally, the YAF’s UAV Unit carried out three military operations targeting three vital Zionist sites in the areas of Yafa, Isdud, and Umm al-Rashrash in occupied Palestine using three drones, the spokesperson affirmed.

He said the operations were in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their Resistance fighters and in rejection of the genocide being committed by the occupation in the Gaza Strip.

YAF seek to impose full ban on Ben Gurion Airport

Saree indicated that following the successful imposition of a partial ban on air traffic at Lydd Airport, the Yemeni Armed Forces are working to impose a full ban on air traffic at the aforementioned airport in the coming period.

The remaining airlines that have not yet complied with the ban are urged to take this warning into account for the safety of their aircraft and passengers, he added.

The spokesperson reiterated that the YAF’s operations will not cease until the Zionist aggression against Gaza is halted and the siege imposed on the Palestinian enclave is lifted.

Yemeni missile closes airspace at Ben Gurion Airport

Earlier on Sunday, Zionist media reported that airspace at Ben Gurion Airport was closed and flights to and from the airport were halted, coinciding with the sounding of air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and areas west of occupied al-Quds, following the detection of a ballistic missile launched from Yemen.

The media reported that the Yemeni missile forced millions of Zionist into shelters.

Military operations carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces continue as part of the air blockade imposed on the Zionist entity, through repeated missile strikes targeting Ben Gurion Airport in recent weeks.

These attacks have caused repeated air disruptions, paralyzed air traffic, and prompted a number of international airlines to suspend flights to the occupied territories.

‘Leave immediately’: Yemeni MoD warns foreign investors in the entity

Just yesterday, a source in Yemen’s Ministry of Defense issued a stark warning to foreign investors and companies operating within the Zionist entity, advising them to “leave immediately” as the security in the region continues to deteriorate.

“Foreign investors and companies operating in the Zionist entity should leave immediately, as the environment will not be safe,” the source told SABA news agency, adding, “It is best to do so while the opportunity remains.”

The source highlighted the capabilities of Yemen’s missile arsenal, stating that its warheads are engineered to fragment upon interception, allowing them to strike a wider array of targets.

Sanaa’s al-Mashat warns bunkers no longer safe for Zionist settlers

On May 28, the head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, affirmed that Yemeni missiles will reach their intended targets, warning that the surprises awaiting the Zionist regime will be harmful.

Addressing Zionist settlers as he toured Sanaa International Airport to inspect the damage caused by the Zionist aggression on the civilian facility, al-Mashat said the government of Netanyahu “will not be able to protect you.”

He warned that “Yemeni missiles are capable of reaching their targets, and bunkers will no longer be safe.”

Earlier, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, affirmed that the Yemeni operations will only intensify in the coming period to further pressure the occupation.

“We aim to escalate our actions to support the Palestinian people. Our next steps will be more effective and impactful,” he vowed.

Yemeni Armed Forces Declare Haifa Port Under Naval Siege

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Monday the imposition of a naval blockade on Haifa Port in occupied Palestine, declaring the strategic Zionist-controlled port a new target. The move comes in response to the continued and escalating Zionist aggression against Gaza and its blockade-induced starvation campaign.

In an official statement, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the YAF, cautioned all maritime companies whose vessels are docked at or en route to Haifa to treat the announcement and future warnings with utmost seriousness.

This escalation follows the successful enforcement of a blockade on the Port of Umm al-Rashrash — also known as Eilat — which ceased operations under Yemeni military pressure.

Saree: We will not hesitate to escalate

Brigadier General Saree reaffirmed that the Yemeni military will not hesitate to escalate further in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance. He stressed that all military actions against the occupation would only cease if the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is fully lifted.

“The armed forces will not hesitate to take any additional necessary measures in solidarity with Gaza,” Saree declared. He also underscored that Sanaa’s position remains firm in backing Palestine’s right to resist occupation and systematic oppression.

Aerial and naval targeting of the occupation intensifies

The Haifa Port blockade is the latest phase in an expanding military campaign led by Yemen. On May 4, the Yemeni Armed Forces declared their intention to impose a complete aerial blockade on Zionist authorities by targeting the Ben Gurion Airport.

Subsequent reports confirmed multiple strikes targeting Ben Gurion, leading to evacuations and forcing settlers into shelters. These operations were described as a direct response to the occupation’s siege on Gaza and its ongoing airstrikes across the Strip.

Airline warnings and Ben Gurion strikes continue

In parallel with military actions, the Yemeni leadership in Sanaa has issued repeated warnings to international airlines, urging them to avoid Zionist airspace entirely. These warnings have coincided with a string of attacks that disrupted civilian aviation and highlighted Yemen’s growing regional military influence.

Ansarallah Targets Ben Gurion Airport, PIJ Bombards Settlements With Rockets

The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they launched a hypersonic missile targeting the Ben Gurion airport on Tuesday, reaffirming the aerial blockade on the occupation entity.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces’ missile unit launched a hypersonic ballistic missile strike on Lod Airport, known in Israel as Ben Gurion Airport, in the occupied area of Yafa,” the group said in a statement.

The missile achieved its mission successfully, forcing millions of Zionist settlers into shelters and halting air traffic at the airport for around an hour, the statement added.

“This strike reinforces the ongoing flight restrictions at the airport and sends a clear message to airlines still operating in occupied Palestine: they must follow the lead of those that have already suspended their flights,” the Yemeni Armed Forces said, reaffirming their air blockade on the occupation.

The Yemeni group asserted that their operations will continue until the war on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted.

Zionist  media claim missile intercepted

Earlier on Tuesday, the occupation forces announced that they had detected a missile launch from Yemen toward the occupied Palestinian territories, while sirens sounded in vast areas, including al-Quds, Tel Aviv, and Netanya.

As Zionist forces scrambled to intercept the missile, Ben Gurion International Airport suspended all flights, with footage capturing terrified passengers on the runways and settlers across Tel Aviv rushing to bomb shelters.

Zionist media claimed that the Yemeni missile came close to reaching its target before being intercepted.

‘Over Trump’s head’

Zionist journalist Amit Segal, reacting to the incident, observed that the Yemenis had launched the missile just as then-President Trump was delivering a speech in Yemen’s neighbor, Saudi Arabia.

Zionist journalist Barak Ravid offered a striking description of the situation, noting that one could practically imagine a Yemeni missile passing over Trump’s head as he delivered his speech in Saudi Arabia before continuing toward the occupation. He noted that while the Yemenis had agreed not to fire on American ships, this restriction didn’t extend to other American targets.

Local sources reported missile fragments landing in settlements near the West Bank city of Qalqilya.

Al-Quds Brigades targets occupying settlements

The al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement, announced on Tuesday evening that it launched rocket barrages targeting occupied Isdud, Askalan, Sderot, and Israeli settlements in the Gaza Envelope.

The Brigades’ Rocket Unit confirmed that the strikes were carried out in response to the massacres committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people.

Hamas’ al-Qassam Brigades confronts Zionist engineering unit

Earlier on Tuesday, fighters from the al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed upon returning from the frontlines that its fighters had engaged in a confrontation with a Zionist engineering unit using light weapons and had eliminated the driver of a Bagger-type military vehicle.

The al-Qassam Brigades stated that the operation took place on Sunday in the eastern part of the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, in eastern Gaza City.

Zionist Super Heron drone downed over Gaza City

On Monday, the al-Quds Brigades also announced that its Resistance fighters had downed a Super Heron drone while it was flying over Gaza City.

This comes as the occupation military continues its genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip since reneging on a ceasefire that brought two months of relative calm.

Gaza death toll surpasses 52,900

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced earlier on Tuesday that the death toll from the ongoing Zionist war on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has now exceeded 52,900 martyrs, with more than 119,700 injured. Since March 18 alone, over 2,700 have been martyred and more than 7,600 wounded.

Hundreds of bodies remain under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable due to relentless Zionist attacks and debris blocking access.

Ambulance and Civil Defense teams face immense challenges in responding, as they too are targeted in what officials describe as a systematic effort to paralyze rescue efforts.

US Capitulates to Yemen in Ceasefire Agreement, Attacks on Zionist Entity Continue

The Omani Foreign Ministry announced on Tuesday that it had successfully brokered a ceasefire agreement between the United States and the authorities in Sanaa, aimed at achieving mutual de-escalation.

According to a statement from Muscat, the agreement entails a commitment by both sides, Washington and the Sanaa-based government, not to target each other in future military operations.

“The Sultanate thanks both parties for their constructive approach that led to this welcome outcome,” the statement read, emphasizing Oman’s longstanding diplomatic efforts in mediating regional conflicts.

US President Donald Trump had earlier declared an immediate halt to US airstrikes on Yemen, claiming that Yemeni authorities had promised to cease attacks on vessels in the Red Sea.

‘Trump surprised us’

The declaration appears to have caught the Zionist occupation off guard, with Axios journalist Barak Ravid quoting a senior Zionist official saying, “We didn’t know about this. Trump surprised us.”

Despite Trump’s claims of a breakthrough, Ansar Allah denied that any such concession had been made. In an interview with Bloomberg, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the group’s Political Council, affirmed that military operations in the Red Sea and against the occupation would continue until the aggression on Gaza ends and the siege on its people is lifted.

Support for Gaza will not cease

While al-Bukhaiti indicated that attacks on US warships may pause if American strikes cease, he stressed that “we will definitely continue our operations in support of Gaza,” underscoring that the movement’s military actions are directly tied to the Israeli regime’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip.

Ansar Allah “will not stop regardless of the consequences until the end of the aggression on Gaza and blockade on its people,” al-Bukhaiti stressed.

‘Israel’ conducts airstrikes on Yemen

Trump’s remarks came just hours after Zionis warplanes carried out airstrikes on the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, resulting in several casualties and injuries.

According to The Jerusalem Post, the occupation was not informed in advance about the US decision to halt its aggression on Yemen.

Footage shared on social media platforms showed scenes of Zionist airstrikes reportedly targeting Sanaa International Airport.

US loses another fighter jet in Red Sea

A second F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet deployed from the USS Harry S. Truman has gone down in the Red Sea, marking the second such incident involving the carrier in just over a week, CNN reported, citing multiple sources familiar with the matter.

The aircraft reportedly experienced a malfunction with the arresting gear while attempting to land aboard the vessel, forcing the pilot and weapons systems officer to eject. Both crew members were retrieved by a rescue helicopter and sustained only minor injuries, according to one source.

The jet sank into the Red Sea and has not yet been recovered.

Intense confrontations

The crash comes amid intensifying confrontations in the Red Sea between the US Navy and Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF). The YAF claimed responsibility for the events that led to the earlier downing of a US aircraft in the same area, asserting that it occurred during retaliatory strikes against the USS Harry S. Truman for its involvement in attacks on Yemeni territory.

On Tuesday, the YAF reportedly targeted the Truman again, despite President Donald Trump announcing a ceasefire with Yemen earlier that day. It remains unclear if the latest missile strike contributed to the crash, but US officials have not ruled out the possibility to CNN.

The Pentagon has deferred all inquiries to the US Navy and CENTCOM, both of which have yet to issue public statements.

Confrontations with Yemeni forces

The Yemeni Armed Forces (YAF) announced on Wednesday a series of military operations against Zionist and American targets.

In a televised statement, spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree said the YAF’s UAV Unit carried out two military operations.

The first targeted the occupations Ramon Airport, in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area in southern occupied Palestine, using two drones.

Meanwhile, the second operation targeted a vital Zionist site in the occupied Yafa (Tel Aviv) area with a Yafa-type drone.

Saree said the two operations were in support of the Palestinian people in Gaza and their Resistance and in rejection of the genocidal war being waged by the occupation there.

YAF target USS Truman, American F-18 crashes

In the same statement, the spokesperson also announced that the YAF Navy and UAV Unit carried out a top-tier military operation targeting the American aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and several of its accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea, using a ballistic missile and several drones.

As a result of the operation, the YAF thwarted an airstrike that the US forces were preparing to carry out against Yemen, Saree revealed.

He added that an American F-18 aircraft crashed “due to the confusion and panic the enemy experienced during the targeting operation.”

Saree also mentioned that the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier fled to the far northern Red Sea in light of the military operation.

Strike against USS Truman carried out before ceasefire

The YAF spokesperson noted that the operation against USS Harry S. Truman was carried out before the US declared a halt to its aggression against Yemen. Earlier, Iran and Saudi Arabia welcomed an Omani-mediated deal ending hostilities between the US and Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement.

Riyadh “welcomed the statement issued by the Sultanate of Oman regarding the reaching of a ceasefire in Yemen with the aim of protecting international navigation and trade,” the Saudi Foreign Ministry stated.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei “welcomed the cessation of US aggression against the country,” praising Yemenis for their “legendary resistance”.

The Yemeni Armed Forces affirm that they will not hesitate to carry out severe and painful strikes against American forces should the US resume its aggression against Yemen, he underlined.

Saree affirmed that the YAF possess the military capabilities to deliver the appropriate response to Israeli aggression on Yemen, noting that the Yemeni forces will continue to block Zionist  maritime movement in the Red and Arabian Seas and ban air traffic at Lyyd Airport, also known as Ben Gurion Airport in “Israel”.

Elsewhere, the spokesperson reiterated that the YAF’s operations will continue until the Zionist war on Gaza ends and the blockade imposed on the Palestinian enclave is lifted, stressing that Yemen will continue to stand with Gaza and Palestine “until victory”.

"In talks brokered by #Oman, the #Trump administration and #Houthi leadership in #Yemen announced the terms of a truce that will see an immediate pause to the #American bombing campaign, met with a reciprocal agreement from the Houthis, also known as #AnsarAllah, not to attack American ships.

“I will accept their word, and we are going to stop the bombing of the Houthis, effective immediately,” Trump said in the Oval Office. He said the Houthis “will not be blowing up ships.”"

Ansar Allah Triumphant: US Facing Red Sea Defeat Again

On April 28th, Western media outlets became abuzz with news that the USS Harry S. Truman – which is leading the Trump administration’s effort to dismantle Ansar Allah’s anti-genocide Red Sea blockade – lost an F/A-18E fighter jet and tow tractor, while executing a hard turn to evade fire from the Resistance group. While a US Navy press release on the incident made no reference to Ansar Allah’s assault, nameless American officials have briefed several mainstream journalists that the losses were Yemen’s doing.

Reporting on the disaster by dependably servile CIA and Pentagon propaganda megaphone CNN was extraordinarily candid. “US Navy loses $60 million jet at sea after it fell overboard from aircraft carrier”, its headline read. The outlet explicitly acknowledged this resulted from an Ansar Allah “drone and missile attack” on USS Harry S. Truman. CNN went on to note the aircraft carrier has “repeatedly been targeted in attacks” by Yemen, while suffering a series of shameful blunders since its deployment to the Red Sea in September 2024.

In December that year, a US fighter jet posted to USS Harry S. Truman was shot down while conducting a refueling mission over the Red Sea in a friendly fire incident. The USS Gettysburg, which was escorting the aircraft carrier, blasted the jet with a missile for reasons unclear. This gross misadventure remains subject to official investigation. Then, on February 12th this year, USS Harry S. Truman was extensively damaged after colliding with a commercial vessel near Egypt’s Port Said, at the Suez Canal’s northern end.

The aircraft carrier returned to service after a period spent in Greece’s Souda Bay for repairs. The US Navy refused to release details about the cost of these repairs, or the total damage USS Harry S. Truman sustained in the collision. Whether further repairs were required was also not clarified. However, the accident was apparently considered so catastrophic within the Pentagon that the carrier’s chief, Dave Snowden, was fired from his post on February 20th, “due to a loss of confidence in his ability to command”.

These humiliating developments were completely ignored by the media. Concurrently, however, mainstream outlets were engaged in a concerted effort to rehabilitate Operation Prosperity Guardian, the embarrassingly failed Biden administration attempt to smash Ansar Allah and end the Resistance group’s righteous Red Sea blockade. Launched with much hype following the Gaza genocide’s eruption, a vast US flotilla led by USS Eisenhower spent nine months getting battered by a relentless barrage of Ansar Allah drones and missiles to no avail, before scurrying back to the US.

‘Defensive Systems’

Throughout Operation Prosperity Guardian, current and former US military and intelligence officials expressed disquiet at the enormous “cost offset” involved in battling Ansar Allah. The US Navy squandered countless difficult-to-replace missiles costing hundreds of thousands of dollars – if not millions – daily to shoot down the Resistance group’s low-cost drones. As Mick Mulroy, a former DOD official and CIA officer, bitterly told Politico:

“[This] quickly becomes a problem because the most benefit, even if we do shoot down their incoming missiles and drones, is in [Yemen’s] favor…We, the US, need to start looking at systems that can defeat these that are more in line with the costs they are expending to attack us.”

There was no sign of this “cost offset” having been remediated by the time Operation Prosperity Guardian fizzled out in July 2024. Official US Navy figures on the “unprecedented” engagement suggest the USS Eisenhower-led carrier group fired a total of 155 standard missiles and 135 Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles, while accompanying fighter jets and helicopters “expended nearly 60 air-to-air missiles and released 420 air-to-surface weapons” – 770 munitions in total – over the nine-month-long conflict.

Independent analysis suggests these figures are likely to be even higher. Moreover, the US Navy did not provide a breakdown of the costs involved in Operation Prosperity Guardian. Even if one accepts the official figures, a single Tomahawk alone costs around $1.89 million, meaning firing 135 cost a staggering $255,150,000. There is also the enduring question of whether this astonishingly expensive arsenal failed to protect USS Eisenhower from direct Ansar Allah attack.

In February 2024, a cruise missile fired from Yemen penetrated so many layers of the aircraft carrier’s defences it was seconds from impact, forcing USS Eisenhower to employ the Phalanx Close-In Weapon System – its “last line of defense”. It marked the System’s first-ever recorded use in battle. Then in June that year, the USS Eisenhower inexplicably withdrew from its sphere of operations in the Red Sea at maximum speed, immediately after Ansar Allah announced it had successfully struck the carrier.

As Al Mayadeen recorded at the time, multiple Western news reports painted a dire picture of Operation Prosperity Guardian in its aftermath. Associated Press revealed that participating sailors and pilots had found the experience “traumatizing”, as they “weren’t used to being fired on.” Many had repeatedly come within seconds of being struck by “Houthi-launched missiles”, before they were destroyed “by their ship’s defensive systems.” The Pentagon was thus considering providing “counseling and treatment” to thousands of US Navy employees suffering from “post-traumatic stress”, and their families.

‘Supplemental Funds’

Fast forward to February 2025, and Business Insider published a curious article, claiming, based on documents exclusively obtained by the outlet, that in fact the US Navy had successfully “fended off” Ansar Allah’s Red Sea blitzkrieg throughout Operation Prosperity Guardian, “without firing a shot”. Instead, “undefined” and “unspecified” methods and weapons of a “non-kinetic” variety were “successfully” employed to protect “Navy and coalition warships and commercial vessels”. This was, of course,e at total odds with literally everything the mainstream media had hitherto reported on the debacle.

With hindsight though, the report’s propaganda utility was clear. It served to rehabilitate the US Navy’s performance in its war on Yemen at a time the Trump administration was preparing to kickstart hostilities against Ansar Allah again. So it was on March 15th, US airstrikes began raining down on Sanaa anew, while the USS Harry S. Truman-led carrier force thrust stridently into the Red Sea. US officials have talked a big game about the fresh assault continuing “indefinitely”, and Trump has bragged that Ansar Allah is “decimated”.

The April 28th loss of an F/A-18E fighter jet due to Yemeni attacks amply demonstrates such boasts to be entirely untrue. In the meantime, on April 4th, the New York Times reported Pentagon officials were “privately” briefing that Trump’s belligerence was failing to graze Ansar Allah, while costing in excess of $1 billion to date. This not only meant “supplemental funds” for the operation needed to be mustered from Congress, but doubts about continued ammunition availability gravely abounded:

“So many precision munitions are being used, especially advanced long-range ones, that some Pentagon contingency planners are growing concerned about overall Navy stocks and implications for any situation in which the United States would have to ward off an attempted invasion of Taiwan by China.”

The New York Times also noted the Trump administration had offered no explanation as to “why it thinks its campaign against [Ansar Allah] will succeed”. Almost a month later, clarity on this crucial point remains unforthcoming. We can perhaps surmise then that the flurry of mainstream interest over the USS Harry S. Truman’s recent troubles is indicative of a determination by the Pentagon to end Washington’s renewed malevolence against Yemen before Ansar Allah inflicts yet another historic defeat on the US Empire.

"Airlines halt Tel Aviv flights after a Yemeni missile hit Ben Gurion Airport, straining tourism, local carriers, and "Israel’s" economic outlook"
Yemen is the only Country in the world taking effective action to stop the genocide in Gaza. They are hitting Israel's economy and eroding the so called "sense of security" of the Israelis. They are doing this at their expense, despite being under US and UK daily bombardment. Respect.
