Here let me show you one of my favorites from last year. I asked for a two part drawing showing my carpenter ant colony plotting to get past Pica to steal food from the kitchen.

In the next panel the ant looks at her rather small audience. Three carpenter ants also in hard hats and high vis vests. A large major looks like she's asking a question and nervous. A median worker who seems like a manager type looks unimpressed. A minor worker is excited and ready to go.

My #Formica #subsericea queen is very skittish and if there is a loud nose or vibrations she runs out of her nest and tries to hide in the water feeder. Only she is much too large for this to work. Poor girl.
