(working title)

The planned ending to this 4-panel was altered twice while I was creating it, From this approximate ending to a wholesome one without a punchline, and then back to this exact one.

Anthro border collie (male) in light blue tee shirt and blue sits beside an anthro sheep (ewe) in pink tee shirt and blue jeans at a park. They are sitting on separate tree stumps. Border collie, pointing into the foreground: Look, Lammy! Billy has a service dog now. Camera angle shifts behind them to reveal an anthro goat in a vest, long sleeved shirt and slacks in a wheelchair holding the leash of a Labrador (non-anthropomorphic) wearing an orange vest warning not to pet the service dog. Border collie: I want to go over and say hi, but you can't pet a service animal. Camera angle returns to its original P O V. Collie's head rests sullenly in his palms, elbows resting on his knees. Sheep: It makes me proud to see you following those protocols. Collie dramatically makes a fist and clenches his eyes shut. Collie: It's for the good of society! Finally completed that comic. It *is* heavily watermarked, which is more clearly visible in the final panel that the rest of it.

Part one of a larger comic: Anthro sheep carrying groceries in the front door, to her adopted brother, an anthro border collie: "Sparky! the door?" Border collie: "Oh yeah, sorry!" Sheep: "Honestly, were we raised in a barn?" Border collie: sigh. No. Anthro belgian blue cow and anthro hog enter the house and are promptly greeted by name. Sheep to border collie: "The wild animals need to be out there in their wilderness home!" Anthro wolf enters the house and shares a kiss with the sheep. Border collie: "Oh Stuart, hey!" Collie thinks "Take it easy, you two."Part two of larger comic: Anthro sheep gestures to a feral cat and says, "Anyway, we already have, ugh, Tommy living here. We don't need any new pets in the house." Cat hisses. Anthro golden retriever and anthro house cat enter. Anthro sheep greets them both by name. Border collie acts nervous as the golden retriever shows him a glittery ball. Retriever: "Hi, Sparkles! I brought my own ball! I mean, orb. Anthro cat: "Yup, she spoke of nothing else." Collie: "That's everyone, right?" Sheep: "Yup! So anyway." Collie: "Door, got it!. Closeup of anthro hog with a 20-sided die in his hand against a fantasy background, who declares, "And now the adventure can begin!"Scene, part 3 of larger comic: Anthro hog acts as Dungeon Master for a tabletop roleplaying game akin to dungeons and dragons. Huh, apparently I never posted the first few panels of the comic I referenced in the previous post. This is all for the best, anyway. Here's some of the fun parts of that comic:

Work in progress. Clockwise around a round table from the left, the following seven anthropomorphic animals play a tabletop RPG: a sheep in a pink T-shirt and blue jeans, a Belgian blue cow in a T-shirt colored to resemble a Belgian flag and blue jeans, a pig in a teal and burnt orange jersey behind a tabletop RPG divider, a border collie in a light blue T-shirt and blue jeans with a hair-raised expression on his face, an excited and grinning golden retriever in a yellow blouse and blue jeans, a gray tabby in a black T-shirt and blue jeans standing on her chair with her hands on the table, and a gray wolf in a light teal short-collared shirt and dark-gray slacks. They are in the middle of an open kitchen with red and beige tiles, with white cabinets, beige countertops, and a mural of dutch-belted cattle in a field on one of the walls above the counter. The view from a window in the distant background shows that it is nighttime. Upon the pig's and cow's entrance in the door, the sheep clasps the pigs right hand in her own in a show of camaraderie and the cow holds up her left hand with the thumb and pinky sticking out, in a "surf's up" gesture. Sheep: Hammil! Bebe! Collie: Welcome!
