Q: I’m wondering how NeoFinder saves metadata to JPEGs. The reason for asking is that JPEGs are lossy so continually re-saving the JPEG would recompress the files and lose detail (which I don’t want to do).

A: No worries, NeoFinder will not touch the actual pixels of JPG files, the metadata is stored in the separate EXIF, IPTC, and XMP metadata section of the files, no pixels harmed. :-)
