The HERALBONY Art Prize is an international art award established in 2024 to provide a platform for artists with disabilities from around the world, regardless of their professional status, age, or nationality, to showcase their creative power and support the blossoming of their careers. The prize includes a Grand Prize and Jury Awards selected by professionals such as curators and gallery directors, as well as Corporate Awards sponsored by companies that align with HERALBONY’s vision of reshaping the image of “disability and art.” The exhibition of award-winning works will present unique creations expressed through diverse materials, techniques, and styles, delivering the power of expression to a wide audience.

“The symbol mark, formed by merging the “H” from HERALBONY and the “A” from Art, is inspired by the concept of a “spotlight” highlighting the “artists in the lead” within the HERALBONY Art Prize. We anticipate that the unique expressions of each individual will broaden the platform where they radiate, fostering the emergence of new talents.”

We are looking at a figure from behind, who in turn is looking at some art. The piece is all in three colors, vibrant pink, dark purple, and silver-blue. The figure is wearing Japanese street fashion, including a bomber jacket with the kanji for "Tokyo" on the back, with a mini-skirt with chain, stockings, and Vivienne Westwood boots modified with bat wings attached. Their hair is in two buns high on their head, mostly dark, with streaks of pink. They have a pink choker and silver-blue earrings. The art they are looking at is abstractly rendered as geometric shapes. Two bookmark-shaped pieces frame the figure's head tot he left and right, and are part of a larger rectangular piece.

the figure in the center of the bookmark is holding hands with two added figures. The three art nude figures face away from us and look at displayed picture frames. The humans are drawn in green, with bright magenta for the picture frames, their held hands, and accessibility aids. The figure on the left is shorter, with dark skin and long corkscrew-coil hair uses forearm crutches, which are also this vibrant magenta. The center figure has more body fat, light skin and a queer undercut, they have a hybrid prosthetic-orthotic in the same magenta as the art. The third figure has spiked hair, more muscle, and a behind-the-ear hearing aid, also in the magenta.

A large, pink inflatable figure is partially wedged between two buildings. The figure appears to be making a peace sign, illuminated by pink lights. The surrounding architecture features a mix of textured gray and brick walls.

Mr. Pink 4
by Philippe Katerine

Mignonisme (Cuteism) is a poetically off-kilter movement to embrace the aesthetics of “cuteness” in our physical and psychological environments. Philippe Katerine presents a series of inflatable sculptures in public spaces, all featuring “Monsieur Rose” (Mr. Pink). The monumental icon of Mignonisme can be found perched on rooftops around the city. These characters transform the streets into playful places and our daily travels into delightful, colorful journeys.

“segni, tracce e carte d’artista”: da oggi, 28 gennaio, @ galleria sandro bongiani vrspace

SANDRO BONGIANI ARTE CONTEMPORANEA

https://www.sandrobongianivrspace.it/

Mostra Collettiva,  “Segni, tracce e carte d’artista”

Gli artisti invitati: Alessandra Angelini I Francesco Aprile I Antonio Baglivo I John M. Bennett I Raffaele Boemio I Andrea Bonanno I Giovanni Bonanno I Anna Boschi I Ryosuke Cohen I Carmela Corsitto I Rosa Cuccurullo I Nicolò D’Alessandro I Marcello Diotallevi I Pablo  Echaurren I Cinzia Farina I Luc Fierens I Giovanni Fontana I Marco Giovenale I Coco Gordon I Paolo Gubinelli I Carlo Iacomucci I Ugo la Pietra I Giovanni Leto I Pietro Lista I Oronzo Liuzzi I Maya Lopez I Serse Luigetti  I  Ruggero Maggi I Mauro Magni I Elena Marini I Giorgio Moio  I Mauro Molinari I Franco Panella I Filippo Panseca I Enzo Patti I Lamberto Pignotti I RCBz  I  Gian Paolo Roffi I Paolo Scirpa I Ernesto Terlizzi I Reid Wood I Rolando Zucchini.
