Back when I modeled for art photographers, I was working alongside a brand new model. The photographer was not great to work for. He was juuuust this side of creepy, but never quite crossed the line. He was driving us back home when he asked us what we were going to do with the money we'd made. We both said "buy groceries."
He said, "oh, now I feel bad that I didn't pay you more."
But he didn't actually feel bad enough to pay us more. Go figure.
I feel bad that this was the first guy the other model had ever worked for. There are better people out there to work for, but they are hard to find. Modeling for photographers is a risky job, but we gotta eat.
