Floppy mechanika Atari 1050 pre 8bitové počítače Atari. Táto prestala ešte začiatkom 90-tých rokov zapisovať médiá. Včera som sa dostal k tomu, že som ju rozobral, pozrel a zistil, že pokazená je LED signalizujúca povolenie zapísať. Spravil som bypass - doplnil som jumper a mechanika si LED nevšíma, zapisuje stále. V blízkej budúcnosti možno nahradím jumper dvojpolohovým prepínačom.

@jonn_blanchard wow, what is this machine ? I remember #Sharp 8bit machines which had tape/data recorder on the side and I always wanted one of those. At the end I was gifted #atari800xl :-) and this is where my computing journey started.

Played Night Driver on the #Atari800XL with my son. Paddle controllers should be in Port 2, and the joystick controller in Port 1. Press [Option] key to switch between [J]oystick and [P]addle controls, [Select] to choose track, [Start] to start a game. Try to center the paddle BEFORE the game begins, joystick Up to lower gear, joystick Down to shift to higher gear. My son got a high score of 300! He enjoyed it so much despite the graphics being primitive, it was immersive.
