Une foulque macroule (sorte de grosse poule d'eau noire avec un bec et une plaque frontale blancs et les yeux rouges) qui vient de plonger sur une feuille de nénuphar. Elle est de profil tournée vers la gauche et on voit des éclaboussures d'eau sous son œil. la forme de son bec donne l'impression qu'elle sourit d'un air narquois. L'eau est miroitante avec des reflets jaunes et vert profond, et de nombreuses feuilles de nénuphar flottent au premier plan. Derrière, un peu floue, on voit la rive boueuse avec des nénuphars et des lentilles d'eau. L'ambiance est lumineuse avec des couleurs vives et contrastées.

This photo had inspired me to write this poem.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧

Against the fading, evening sky,
A heron's form, so stark and high.
A slender neck, a pointed beak,
Silently gazing at the creek.

There was a hidden little gem of a place with a waterfall near the city, however, you had to climb down a slope to reach it and we found it was very slippery in areas. Still, the shoot started off doing some various outfits Megan typically used for her flow/hooping performances before we switched to a nude in nature shoot for some quick poses before switching back. A fantastically fun and beautiful shoot and a pleasure working with her. These are the results of that photo shoot.
