Question for my audiophiles: anyone come across a usb-c DAC (like e.g. a Dragonfly) that does ANC too?

Just had an interaction with a Youtube commenter who was criticizing someone's Audio Technica LP120 as if they got a Crosley or something, and this dude had the nerve—the gall... the GUMPTION—to preface his response with "Not being an elitist, but[…]" before recommending that I compare it alongside a Linn LP12, which, in case your feet are a little too close to the ground, currently retails for about $20,000.
Well I stand corrected. They're not an elitist, I just haven't had the opportunity to hear just how good a record can sound on a player that costs about as much as a small car. I bet you it's *almost* as good as a CD!
At the #Midway party spot warehouse on the industrial waterfront edge of #SanFrancisco , a new immersive sonic experience is attracting #audiophiles to listen to everything from #PinkFloyd to #SZA
You have a nose as well.
These speakers are designed to get right up it.
Whereas the Chinesium ones only do both ears and one nostril, which will not have that fully shafted audiophile feel.
One has to look out for these cheap cost-cutting tricks, otherwise one might end up with a plain old chamberless snail shell and not a nautilus at all, from a less reputable manufacturer.
Yes, but only 3 frequencies, notice.
The #audiophiles ones do 4 frequencies. This is the quality difference, and no doubt registered design, that you pay the extra dosh for.
You definitely want speakers that do 4 whole frequencies; otherwise what is the point? (-:
Needs £90,000. Asks 500 people for £1,000 each.
You have been taking lessons. (-:
There is a lot to buy from Toolstation and Jewson with all of the left over lolly, of course. Fancy MDF plinths with a bit of white with a hint of fuschia splashed on, are not free.

The current YouTube hoo-hah about some bloke making very expensive #HiFi equipment from his small business unit in Glamorganshire, with the usual wild claims about audio, has revealed that almost no-one knows about design rights, a type of intellectual property that exists in #UKLaw but not in U.S. law.
What's your favorite audiophile extravagance? Mine was the $78 AR XA turntable I bought when I was in high school and still have to this day.
"Some of the equipment reviews used to talk about the turntable as the most important in the sound-reproducing chain. I think that's nonsense—the job of the turntable is to say out of the picture."

"I think that an audiophile would be disappointed if their $30,000 investment bought them an electronic design lifted directly from a data sheet."
The Mend It Mark YouTube copyright takedown kerfuffle—and the high-end audio nonsense it illustrates—have legs.
Science, not magic! The feel-good factor.

Has anyone out there found a decent receiver to do whole room audio from a computer.
I have a 25x20 area that has a wall that goes down the middle and stops 3/4th of the way down so I want to put like 6 speakers around the entire building so my audio can be everywhere in the room, bonus points if I can set up channels and map audio between the two sides.
To all my #Blind #AudioPhiles out there, what's the best accessible desktop DAC? I'm starting to get into high-res flac files, and I wana make sure I'm getting the best quality of sound. Should probably get some nice planar magnetic headphones while I'm at it.
