A red and blue beetle (both its common name and basic description!), Dicranolaius bellulus.
I thought it was more green than blue and was kind of annoyed at finding out the common name, but felt somewhat vindicated when I saw it belongs in the Malachiinae subfamily.
An unusually chilled-out White's skink, Liopholis whitii. This little guy allowed me to get close enough to get a decent shot with my Olympus 60mm lens.
At first I thought this was some sort of fossil - it felt like part of the rock. Turns out it's a chiton, a marine mollusc. This one is a giant chiton, Plaxiphora albida.
Chitons use biomineralisation to coat their teeth in iron (technically magnetite) so they can chew away on coral and algae growing on rocks.
