"Autostop za PRLu został zinstytucjonalizowany. Autostopowicze byli wyposażeni w legitymacje: książeczki z których przewożący kierowcy mogli odrywać kupony. Po wypełnieniu i odesłaniu do biur podróży brały udział w losowaniu nagród. Oprócz legitymacji, autostopowicze musieli mieć ubezpieczenie i książeczkę oszczędnościową (z obowiązkowym 200-złotowym wkładem). Posiadaczem książeczki nr 1 był chirurg z Bydgoszczy, Aleksander Melech – najstarszy autostopowicz w Polsce. Urodzony w 1883 roku w Wilnie, przeżył 99 lat. Gdy wyruszył w trasę w 1957, miał 74 lata i podróżował przez ponad 20 kolejnych. Zabranie w podróż mężczyzny z długą brodą kierowcy traktowali jako wielkie wyróżnienie. W 1979, w wieku 96 lat, jeszcze był na trasie ale nigdy nie stawał, wolał iść naprzód i zatrzymywać samochody w marszu. "

Dernier bout de route avec un jeune policier un brin mystérieux au début du trajet et qui s'est déridé sur la fin (bon, avec un lot de commentaires racistes sur les immigrés, hein). Me voici dans un train vers #Strasbourg.

Bon, ça patine un peu du côté de #Metz, là, mais ça avance. Suis à 100km de #Strasbourg. De là, je pense que j'opterai pour un train tranquille, histoire de plus trop forcer.
