This weekend was only a bit chilly in #Aurora, #Illinois. Our dog Ava enjoyed a nice long walk-- actually, more like a trot-- and I rode my bicycle. (I have heel spurs, so I ride slowly while she trots or runs alongside me.)

The kids in our neighborhood all know and love her, and she loves the attention. They came running from the playground to pet her, just as soon as they saw her.

After supper, Ava got comfortable resting at dad's feet. Somehow, his foot makes a nice pillow.
