I recently started a new #pillarsOfEternity run.

So with #TheOuterWorld, #Avowed, Pillars, and most likely #Deadfire and #TheOuterWorlds2 … this is a very Obsidian heavy year for me. 😅

#Avowed story and graphics are AAA, and coming from a team of what, 80-odd?, not 4/500 like Starfield. Recommended 👍

I like how the characters in Avowed always give you directions. I turned off waypoint markers, and try to just use the directions and the map. I think it makes for a more fun experience.

Kai: On to the Temple of Ondra, then. It's east of here, just across the canal. In the plaza with the big statue.

Kai is a tall coastal aumaua, a sort of fish person with scales all over their body.
Next to them stands Marius, a dwarf with a thick beard, who has a bow and arrows strapped to their back.

Falling damage? Never heard of it. 😆

Reminds me of playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard, where I was paranoid about jumping long distances until eventually I figured out that the game really doesn't care how far down you jump.
