I thought the differences in BanG Dream! Ave Mujica's reception in the West and Asia was interesting, so I broke it all down in my review of the series. While the US gave it an 8.1, Japan gave it a 6.5, and China gave it a 4.2.
Looking at my previous screenshots, there's a lot of chicks admitting love to other chicks.
There was a lot of unnecessary drama that was poorly resolved in BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, and I'm not the only one who thinks that. You should see the average rating for this series outside of the English-speaking fandom.
History will say they are the best of bandmates.
BanG Dream! Ave Mujica is better than It's MyGO!!!!! by a pretty significant margin. But that doesn't mean it's a good anime. It had a good start and a very good end, but the middle was a mess.
Episode 12 of Ave Mujica flips the opening and ending themes.
IDK, it feels artistic, especially given the episode ends with a really "opening" type of line.
