It is definitely spring now! Earlier this evening I heard a Baltimore Oriole calling in the trees behind the house, the Chorus frogs are cree-ee-eeking and just now I heard the chittering of a Big Brown Bat flying around.

We used to see #bats regularly in the summer, but for the last 2-3 years we've seen fewer and fewer. I miss seeing them, so I made a bat box, hoping that might make our yard seem more hospitable. It's amazing what a small space bats like (at least according to the various online directions I found). We'll see if it works.
