Just took this photo of the area adjacent to my pond.

I came up with the idea of the beaded ball tree after the election as a way to channel my energy at a very depressing time for me. It really helped. Every time I look at it, I immediately get distracted from negative thoughts.

I just finished beading this star over the last week with some new beads. Buying new beads always inspires you. I can't adequately explain how the texture of the beads feels.

Hand beaded star using crystals, back-lit with a string light. A miniature park bench is a perch for a metal cardinal oenament. A cozy camper ornamental is tucked into the intimate scene. Crochet doilies mimic texture as if sand on a beach.
