(31 Dec 24): #NYE with the core range of #Steenbrugge. Almost all of their beers are brewed using the traditional mixture of spices and herbs known as "gruit" in the middle ages. The brand itself has an interesting history:

(30 Dec 2024): #Rabauw To Bock Or Not To Bock Roggebock (Rye Bock). I like Rabauw; they are a social enterprise and employ many people who would not have a chance on the regular job market. Why the label says (in Dutch) "Cheers to the best Fruit Sour we've ever brewed" is something of an enigma though.
(29 Dec 24): Post-Christmas nostalgia with #AnspachAndHobday The Pfeffernüsse Stout. Not at all sweet as I had feared but rather spicy, with hints of cloves and cinnamon. A bit thin, though.
Behind Door Number 24: #Pohjala Must Kuld Porter. On balance, it's been a nice advent calendar although if I could have made a wish, I would have wished for a couple more stouts or porters.
Behind Door Number 23: #NorthernMonk Faith Hazy Pale Ale. It's funny - NM is such a well-known craft brewery, but I've never ever had one of their beers before. I understand that "Faith" is somewhat of a signature brew, so I consider today's door a definite Win.
Behind Door Number 22: #TwoChefs Stroopwafel (syrup waffle) Stout. Alas, I've had this several times before, but at least it's a nice beer.
Behind Door Number 21: La #Choufffe Blonde. It's an alright beer tbs, but still a bit lame to find it in a "Craft Beer" calendar, especially after it was bought by #Duvel Moortgat some years ago. Well anyhoo ...

Behind Door Number 15: #CrewRepublic Iron Maiden Trooper Progressive Lager. I have seen the regular "Trooper" on many a shelf over the last few years, but never bothered to buy one. Up until now, I was therefore completely unaware of the fact that there are quite a lot of beers by different breweries sold under that brand name.
Behind Door Number 14: #Omnipollo x #Newbarns Emma's Winter Mild (Ale). A Nitro beer, so it comes with instructions on how to pour 😉
Behind Door Number 13: #SierraNevada California IPA (a Session IPA). Brewed at their second plant in Mills River, NC.
Behind Door Number 12: #FuerstWiacek Müggelseer Hell. A "special edition of [their] Berliner Landbier" they say - whatever "special edition" may mean in this case. Maybe just badge engineered. 🤔

Behind Door Number 9: #SuddenDeath Lübi Premium Extra Pale Ale. Their Zwickel the other day was decent, but I hope this doesn't turn out to be a "Sudden Death Advent Calendar" in disguise ...
Behind Door Number 8: #TeenageEngineering Okinawa Type Clear Lager. As I am not a music nerd, I was surprised to find that TE is a Swedish consumer electronics (synthesizers, etc.) company who apparently wanted their own house beer, which is brewed at #Stigberets in Gothenburg. I guess that this will be a "typical" Asian Pale Lager, which I'm not a big fan of, but we'll see.
