We both zipped along handily, exchanging gratitude that the city would do this, at one point, and going east from Best Buy on 103 ave up to 103 street, where you take a jog south and get back on the older 102 ave #bikelane. Given the bike lanes precedent, shouldn't be too hard to challenge this on constitutional safety and security of the person grounds.

There is so much data out there that speed enforcement cameras work to reduce speeds and make the roads safer for vulnerable road users.

Particularly galling is the fact that SEC's are only allowed in school zones in #Ontario, so the victims of this announcement are literally children.

But, children don't vote or 'donate' to #DougFord, so who cares about them!

Finally, SEC's (in Canada) are NOT a "cash grab". There are precisely ZERO municipalities that rely on speeding fines for their general revenue. This constrasts with the #US where many municipalities use speeding fines as a major source of revenue.

Okay, so, noob cyclying/scooter question. I've never used the bike lane on my e-scooter because I've been nervous to try. I want to start using it soon, and have no idea how to go about turning right in a bike lane that has merged with normal car lanes. Any pointers? I don't drive either, so I apologize if this is a stupid question.
