En passant chez #parinux avec un hoodie @BioinfoFr on m'a parlé d'une publication @cnrs sur les #fourmis (pas retrouvée), publication chez #nature : "One mother for two species via obligate cross-species cloning in ants", de la #bioinfo et #génomique
Je cherche un bouquin ou une ressource niveau master de bio-informatique et/ou bio-statistique. Je ne suis pas brillant en statistique, donc faudrait que ça commence léger et je ne suis pas brillant en programmation (mais j'ai une formation en informatique). Le but est de me recycler (3ème fois) dans le domaine de la bio depuis l'info. J'ai commencé tout en bas par une formation agricole, puis j'ai fait du forcing en écologie en tentant de me mettre à niveau , je trouve pas de job, alors je vais tenter la bio/éco-info (et puis les stats c'est la vie, j'en vois partout, je veux combler mes lacunes).

@lapply Thanks! It takes time to learn those stuffs ({targets} for R) so now that I am familiar with snakemake, I won't invest in nextflow for example. And the wrapper for #bioinfo soft are great.
For #quarto it is a good move, everything is polished and smooth. And here rendered with #gitlabci easily. Last xaringan > revealjs is painful but worth it too

I'm a postodoc working on the #evolution of plant-microbe interactions. Using integrative #phylogemomics approaches I partly developed, I search for genetic elements associated to #symbiose. More largely, I 'm also working on the #plant terrestrialization and diversification.
