On December 13, 2014 I joined a small group of folks from the Rock Art Foundation for a hike to see the sites in Mile Canyon near Langtry, Texas. One of the sites we visited was Eagle Cave. I had no idea that in March of 2016 I would spend my Spring Break from my studies at Texas State to work on an excavation at this very site.
