I screwed up my morning fishing expedition, so I took a little time to do fishing during my afternoon hike. This guy took a rather large elk hair bug on the surface. I can't believe it was able to swallow the whole thing.

I'm going to start a fish farm; find a nice spot out in the #Willamette valley, dig some ponds, raise #catfish, #crappie, #bluegill, and #trout. I'll let people come and #fish in exchange for bottles of wine, and bushels of apples. I'll supply all the #soulfood restaurants in the #PNW with channel cats so their catfish poboys don't taste like muddy asian catfish anymore.

A bluegill with pink and purple hues is gently handled and released into water. You can see pebbles on the bottom of shallow water.

Last night on #fishingplanet was fun! We reeled in some more #fish, amongst them were #crappie, #bass, #bluegill, #pickeral, and #sunfish! Unfortunately, they were all common, with a single young one. We'll have to continue hunting for a #trophy size.
