#Snow #showers are returning to the #Northland, focusing now on the Twin Ports and I-35 corridor.

It won't be #heavy #snowfall, but #blustery #winds will reduce #visibility and create #blowing and #drifting conditions.

Goodnight, other #eagle watchers. Jackie is (I believe) still on the nest, although she is not visible. The winds have picked way up (around 10mph) and snow is still falling. The #nest looks like a giant, white bagel.

The female eagle has now been on the nest for 50 hours straight. This looks like a real challenge this year.

At 19:00 nest-time, the low-light camera is own, so there is no color (although with it being night with snow all one could see would be black and white regardless, including the bird if one could actually see her.)

The nest is now a huge white donut, with a slight depression in the center. The tree branches are completely covered in snow, as the wind picks it up and paints with it, on every surface.

You can not see the bird at all.

While typing this the wind was gusting so much I went back to the webcam. She had thrown off the snow and relocated, turning slightly. I hope the snow works its insulating magic tonight, it is blustery and about 30F Best luck to all the eagles.
