After playing Heat: Pedal to the Metal last week we broke out the classic Formula De again! While Heat is decent, Formula De is my true racing love - I think it's more exciting and it has the advantage of having real tracks too! I always wanted to zip around the Nurburgring and I recently acquired it from my local boardgame cafe's library after they had a clear out!
It's a bit of a juggle playing two cars each and also two other pairs as "bots" (though we're really just playing them ourselves because even after all this time nobody seems to have come up with a decent bot system for Formula De) but it's a close race so far in the first lap. No disasters so far but we've had a few overshoots already! #boardgames #racing
