My family has made the extremely difficult decision to flee their beloved #homeland after four months of constant #bombings, #violence, and #starvation. I am #fundraising for eight members of my family to evacuate Gaza and seek #safety and #stability.
My family was #violently #displaced from their home in #GazaCity and are now living in #Rafah in a tent structure with little #food, no potable #water, no #electricity and no access to necessary #medicine or care for my diabetic uncle. The eight people includes my cousin's four month old #baby, born during this #bombardment. Every day is a struggle for #survival as they must #scavenge for food and wood for cooking while simultaneously being #surrounded by #tanks and enduring constant bombardment.
I have started this fundraising campaign because it has become necessary for them to #evacuate to #Egypt for safety and stability. They have lost everything in this #war, including my uncle's business and the family's only source of income. He owned a beloved dessert restaurant in the community (Bubbles), which was destroyed early on.
