iPhone Steps:
1) Screenshot (saving works, too, though I wanted to show the boosts)

2) Open the Photos app, and go to the image.

3) Select some of the text with a long press.

4) If the menu doesn't pop up tap the selected text.

5) Tap "Select All" and tap Copy

6) Go back to Mastodon, and add the image to your post/reply.

7) Tap the image and tap the menu option for the image description.

8) Tap in the text field, and select "Paste"

9) Edit to add context, and remove artifacts that result from trying to paste the unpasteable.

10) Tap the [Save] button.

I think it's commonly held that hobbies/passions can be ruined by allowing them to become profitable.

Can the same be true for allowing/making your hobbies/passions have social value?

And the follow-up question is, how have you found it useful to accept that your hobbies/passions don't have to have any value/utility outside of what you get out of it?

Edit: I define "ruined" as no longer enjoyable and requiring unsustainable motivation to continue.
