Luckily "regular life" is showing itself from the best side right away: today is #fridaynightskate, tomorrow #pride parade and it is sunny, warm and I'm back in a city with canals clean enough that you can dip in anywhere.
Now let's see if I can still skate 20k after a month of camping at #bornhack and #why2025.

On the boat back to the UK after a very fun month including #bornhack and #why2025. Very much looking forward to getting home though.

Heading back to the US unfortunately after an amazing summer vacation. 4 countries, 2 hacker camps, 3 hacker spaces, 6 hotels, 3 friends’ homes, and a myriad of amazing experiences with friends new and old. Big thanks to @JennyList and everyone at HSNL for taking me in again. To @tykling, @radicalpet, and the rest of the #BornHack ORGA for creating an amazing event and community to come home to once a year. And to all who pitched in at WHY to make it a lovely camp despite all the setbacks! 💜💜💜

Back home after #WHY2025 - everything looks so dark in this outside world without all the Light installations and tents 🏕️ 🥺

The gig itself felt rather commercial. I tried to meet up with a friend who lives nearby, and some random security person turned us around at the gate saying "no visitors without tickets". That's after I'd spent two days at the camp without checking in (the registration desks placed too far back). To think now that I was annoyed at the #bornhack bar folks for obsessing over wristbands and not selling drinks after I'd shown them the pdf receipt (arrived late at night too)...
