Le Black Friday siphonne l’attention, le pouvoir d’achat et les imaginaires.

Pourquoi le Black Friday est une catastrophe ?
Le Black Friday, c’est une orgie de production à « bas
prix » : -matières premières pillées -CO 2 à gogo, pour produire et pour acheminer les colis -montagnes de déchets incinérées ou envoyées dans les pays les plus pauvres
Et qui fabrique la majorité de ces produits ? Des femmes, des enfants, payé·es une misère, exploité·es dans des usines insalubres.
La domination des corps et la domination de la Terre : même système, même combat. Des produits « pas chers » ? Le coût final est en réalité bien plus élevé que celui mentionné sur l’étiquette € !

A rant about Black Friday and Thanksgiving …
Commercialism and globalism have done many no favours.
Black Friday sales occur worldwide, yet most are clueless as to why it's called Black Friday.
Although Canada celebrates Thanksgiving, the Canuck holiday is not a USA clone. It's origins come directly from Indigenous Canadians and via the UK's and Europe's Harvest celebration, and happens mid October. Hence I find it ridiculous that Canada & others have Black Friday sales.
