This footbridge that I crossed last week was the last human-made structure before I entered into the wilderness when backpacking in the White #Mountains, #NewHampshire. Beyond that point, I enjoyed a primitive single-track trail that wound through the dense forest and across many streams, providing me with the solitude that I desired. #FootpathFriday #Footbridge #hiking

Am Rhein in Basel, Blick auf die historische Mittlere Brücke und Grossbasel. Der Himmel ist größtenteils bedeckt, aber links außerhalb des Bildes scheint die Morgensonne durch eine Wolkenlücke und beleuchtet die Brückenbögen von unten. Auch die Gebäude im Hintergrund liegen im warmen Sonnenlicht. Das Ganze spiegelt sich im Rhein, wobei die Spiegelung durch Wellen verzerrt ist.

University Bridge in Saskatoon reopens after fatal motorcycle crash
The crash happened near the downtown end of the bridge. Police closed down vehicle and pedestrian traffic and taped off access from 25th Street, Spadina Crescent, College Drive and Clarence Avenue for most of Thursday.
