The demolition of the 1876 India Building on Bridge Street in Glasgow. You can now see through to the connected 1920s Art Deco building on the neighbouring Oxford Street, which at the start of the 2000s was home to the Chateau, an arts venue and practice space for the band Franz Ferdinand.

I've always found this a rather striking tenement. On the corner of Bridge Street and Kingston Street in Glasgow, it was probably designed by Bruce and Hay and was built in 1884 for the Commercial Bank of Scotland, with flats above the ground floor business premises.

The new Bridge Street Station in Glasgow. Designed by James Miller and opened in 1890, it replaced the original Bridge Street Station further north on the south bank of the Clyde. It closed in 1905 after the expansion Glasgow Central Station on the north side of the Clyde.
