I had such an amazing experience at #BSidesSeattle this year.
That area's tech scene feels so alive.
I wrote up some of my thoughts on the event.

Interesting realization at #bsidesseattle. A large proportion of the speakers are from populations that are minorities in infosec (yay!). This year I noticed I unintentionally mostly picked talks done by women. I wonder if they’ve picked or marketed their topics in a way that resonates somehow because of my gender? 🤔

Falling Off the Edge, And How to Help
Back for another round of cyber shenanigans and sticker distribution @bsidesseattle 🕵️♀️💃
Yesterday was a whirlwind of honeypot chats, hugs, and posing for photos like the true feathered icon I am. Today? More ops, more ops, more ops.
I’m sneaking into hallway conversations, and making sure the flamingo representation at security conferences remains fabulous and functional.
If you see me flapping around, come say hi—I still have a few flamingo stickers left and possibly some terrible security puns.
