alles in allem eine Gelungene Sache, die Tools die sie zur Verfügung stellen funktionieren einwandfrei.
Migration von EMails, Kalender und Kontakten durchgeführt. Dies mit 2 Accounts und 2 Domains.
Hab nun mal mit dem Thunderbird als Outlook Ersatz gestartet, auch aufm Mobile. Bezüglich #CalDav und #CardDav habe ich ne Steile lernkurve hinter mir (https://infosec.exchange/@hosebei/114331150280919695).
Aufm Mobile bin ich nun mit DAVx5 sehr zufrieden, macht was es soll.
Offen ist nun noch die PSTN anbindung, aber das eilt ja nicht.

To protect yourself against migration blunders, mark your source storage (platform) as read_only and let it "win" in your conflict_resolution setting.
For address book pairs, you can also sync the "displayname" and "description" metadata – for calendar pairs, additionally "color" and "order".

gibt es ein paar schöne Apps, die mir aus dem Apple-Ökosystem eine galante Kompatibilität mit Diensten in der #Nextcloud herstellen?
#Kalender über #CalDav ist kein Problem, Kontakte auch – mir geht es mehr um das #Taskmanagement: Ich könnte das auch über CalDav im Kalender machen, finde aber die Tasks App mit Subtasks etc. oder sogar Decks als Lösung für #Kanban sinnvoller.

@iznogoud Here are some screenshots. Note the choices to Add a "Calendar" or "Subscription Calendar". Adding a (normal) Calendar *is for iCloud only*. There is no drop-down menu if you tap "Account - iCloud" in the second screenshot, allowing, say, a CalDAV calendar instead.
Especially note that 3rd screenshot (of the #iPadOS Calendar app) showing that "Add Subscription Calendar" must be read-only. The word "CalDAV" is not anywhere to be seen (as though to try to erase the very word "CalDAV" from the common parlance), but a CalDAV URL can indeed be used. The implication here is that a remote #CalDAV #calendar can't be accessed read-write. Which is true in that app.

Seit wann kann man im GNOME Desktop per CalDAV ein "Online Konto" anlegen?

Can anyone explain to me the labyrinthine interactions between #caldav calendars, email accounts providers and calendar apps?
The first two are often coupled together (convenience?) but you can separate them entirely?
If you have one email inbox for multiple email adresses, how the hell do you distengangle calendars? In Thunderbird calendar client you can pick an identity, but I'm not sure that's being honoured, and apart from that I can't even tell where some of the settings are from.

Also mal Erinnerungen only. Es ist sehr mächtig geworden, hält aber wegen proprietärem Quatsch keine Standards mehr ein (#CalDAV). Die Bedienung der Apps ist außerdem gruselig, und auf Mac ist die Schriftgröße nicht anpassbar auf meine alten Augen (die App ist bei Bedienhilfen außen vor). (2/8)
I think doing a mindful assessment of Thunderbird and whatever uhh other first-line desktop calendar apps for Linux that I can find with #CalDAV and task support vis-a-vis how they interact with tasks created by Tasks.org (Android) ...... is on the agenda for this coming week. I need to get this done. I need a phone-plus-desktop solution for calendar CRUD that works with my tasks app and calendar app on Android sufficiently gracefully that I can tolerate it.
I have been looking for a drop-in replacement for Google's Android implementation of reminders for like 6 years. I started de-Googling that long ago (wow) and one of the first things I pulled off Google was my calendar and contacts. anyway a lot has changed in 6 years so maybe I'll find something.

With Mozilla launching Thundermail as a mail provider and knowing the intend to use Stalwart as server implementation, I really hope we start seeing more wide adoption of JMAP. SMTP, IMAP, CalDAV and CardDAV ara really showing its age and limitations.

You probably want #Kontact. You can set up the *DAVs in the #KOrganiser & #KAddressBook components. Note I run #Nextcloud, and #KOrganiser will add both the #CalDAV & #CardDAV at the same time to both apps. These apps can be run separately, or seamlessly as part of #Kontact - up to you.
It will handle the multiple accounts easily (I currently have four), but only two identities.
