I felt the caress of the water, the jaguar said. I felt the swipe of the crocodile's claws. My jaws clamped down, and I dragged him, dripping from the river.
Epic! the cats cheered.
Maybe it was a caiman, not a crocodile, said the jaguar.

Lidja awoke when she heard a door open. Revin was gone to Campshire and she was alone in the room. Quiet footsteps approached. She tensed and her heart began to pound as she lay silently, listening.
"I am lonely without my hero," Momo said, quietly.
"Oh, your Majesty!" Lidja said. She pulled back the covers. "Come! Lie down with me."
Momo slipped into the bed and hugged Lidja. Lidja gave her a gentle #caress and kissed her forehead. Then they snuggled together until sleep took them.
