It really bothers me when watching 'professional' peeps on Youtube doing car stuff and not using proper PPE when doing their work. Or perhaps they don't use it on camera... I know it's been 'a thing' in the comments of their videos.

I'm convinced they will have lung cancer by the time they get in their sixties. Constant exposure to VOCs, epoxy resin, bondo dust, welding smoke, sand blasting, oh my!

Finally installed the bushings into the Miata's control arms. Satisfying pushing them out and pressing them in.

Slow but steady. Might have it done in time to go back into winter storage at this pace!

It's Sacha's birthday today.

I've booked to take her to The Great British Car Journey museum on Derbyshire where she can relive her mis-spent youth driving an 850cc Mini (and I get to drive my dad's Morris Minor).

When we met she had her Mini and I couldn't drive. A match made in 1970s heaven!

Mildly obsessed with FB RX-7s the last several days.

Wonder if the Mazda KLDE V-6 engine fits under the hood. Haven't experienced a rotary this century... wasn't a fan in period from what I remember.

Test drove this 2011 #Mazda #MX5 #Miata this morning. It's a manual transmission which I haven't driven in 10 years. I previously had a manual 2000 #Ford #Focus for 15 years. I didn't forget how to shift gears!

The blue exterior with the beige interior looked great! It's also the NC generation that most don't like for "reasons." I thought it was sweet and drove really well. I'll probably not go with it because of the low roof, but I did have a blast. #cars #carsofmastodon
