In a nice coincidence today's #1001albums choice was ...And Justice For All by #metallica , and I was working from home, so could stick it on the #CD player while getting stuck into understanding some data.

I always find this album somewhat tricky, I'd say it's good...but always comes out lacking compared to the two that preceded it, and yeah, the mix leaves a lot to be desired.

Eine Frage ans #Fediverse: Bisher hab ich #Musik immer auf #CDs gekauft (oder geschenkt bekommen) und diese CDs dann in FLAC-Dateien konvertiert.

Meine technischen Gründe für das Bevorzugen von CDs waren bisher: kein DRM-Schutz, hohe Audioqualität, relativ geringes Verlustrisiko

Jedoch werden viele Alben mittlerweile nicht mehr auf #CD herausgebracht, sodass sich jetzt die Frage stellt: Wo kauft man am besten digitale Musik (in Bezug auf DRM und Qualität)?

I have mixed feelings about this live album. While it’s a great show and the band sounds tight, David’s vocals aren’t very strong. That said, one of my favorite tracks is actually “She’s a Woman,” originally from their final studio album.
