@serichards from my limited experience with both #Chargemap and #ABRP apps, I would like to be able to pick waypoints with chargers myself, like adding a waypoint to a navigation app, not just let the app pick one based on the intended charge % upon arrival at one’s destination. Maybe this exists already?

I didn’t really have time to play much with #BMWi4 navigation, but I expect the advantage of that would be preparing the car and battery for the intended charge location chosen.

@serichards I was impressed by #Chargemap in 🇫🇷, including the status and availability of charging locations, as well as the recent user reviews more or less confirming the information, but I don’t think it’s recommended for 🇬🇧 use.

@DenOfEarth @SteveInVentura the advantage of the #ChargeMap app was that it seemed very up to date on current status, and included reviews from recent users who successfully charged.

The issue on the first night in the parking garage is that the chargers had no QR code and would only accept cards like ChargeMap for contactless payments, which a foreigner like me can’t get with no local address.

Fortunately, I hadn’t driven far, so didn’t need to solve that problem.

So far, in this small village in the middle of nowhere, #Chargemap is providing much more detail on the state of the chargers than #ABRP.

#ZapMap describes itself in the App Store as a 🇬🇧 charging app, so I haven’t loaded that one for a trip to 🇫🇷.

I have loaded #ABRP so I’m checking that out.

Finally, #ChargeMap. This one requires a free registration to see much, so I’m going to do that.

I’ll only be renting for three days, and I’ll be busy, so we’ll see how much information I can share.

Looks like #Chargemap have finally noticed there's a charge from last year they never invoiced me for. I got a polite email telling me I would, with their apologies, be receiving an "extra" invoice this month for an unpaid charge last year. I put it down to an IT glitch at the time, must've affected enough charges for them to notice a hole in their revenue and do something about it! Probably involving some poor junior poring over months of charge data with a highlighter pen.

Ich kann zwar zu Hause laden, finde aber die Ladeinfrastruktur hier in der Gegend gar nicht so schlecht.

Bisher, ich hatte ja ne zeit lang auch öffentlich laden müssen, noch nie vor einem vollen "Stall" warten müssen.

Kennt allerdings nahezu alle Ladenetze, auch die kostenlosen Stationen.

Welche E-Mobility Routenplaner nutzt ihr?

Ich tendiere zu #Pump da das UI aufgeräumt und hübsch ist.

#ABetterRouteplanner bietet auch viele Optionen, aber die Benutzung ist irgendwie komisch.

#ChargeMap habe ich mir noch nicht genauer angeschaut, da man sich soforr registrieren muss.

Gibt es noch etwas, das ich übersehen habe? #emobility

Das #egmp bzw. Ur- #ioniq Kompatibilitätsproblem mit #tesla habe ich jetzt organisatorisch gelöst.
Bspw. mit #chargemap kann man den tesla-Euro-Stecker selektieren, den es mWn nur an den funktionierenden V2 SuCs gibt.
Daran entlang kann man die Tour planen und von den guten Preisen profitieren und den Frust am Rastplatz zurück lassen. :)

This is an interesting take. #Tesla making an #AWS play would be beneficial to the broader adoption of EVs indeed. We've already seen Tesla allowing third party billing for Superchargers with #Chargemap here in Europe, so this game is just starting out.

Les prises 220v française sont compatible avec les schuko allemande et inversement (vérification technique faite). Sur place c'est des prises socket:typee , #etalab à la bonne informations (mais double toutes les prises) #osmand (allemand) ne connait que socket:schuko

Même chez les privé comme #chargemap ce n'est pas clair. Prise européenne mais avec le symbole schuko

j'ai testé pour vous le réseau de recharge électrique des autoroutes de France ce week-end. les bornes non tesla c'est donc :
une seule place par lieu de recharge au lieu de 6 minimum.
une seule prise sur les trois qui fonctionne en général.
quelle indignité ! #total #électrique

mais sinon #chargemap ça roule bien, et les bornes ionity n'ont pas ce problème de fourniture et de câbles morts, mais c'est juste hyper cher et toujours pas foutu de faire payer au kwh.
et dans tous les cas c'est une honte de ne pas juste avoir de terminal de paiement par carte.
les types feraient tout pour qu'on ne s'en serve pas qu'ils ne feraient pas autrement.

@MaximHylian aloooors, depuis que j'ai ma #tesla #modelS 90d j'ai un #chargemap que je n'ai jamais eu l'occasion d'utiliser tant le réseau de superchargeur est rapide et bien fourni.
j'ai pris aussi une carte kiwhi pass qui ne m'a non plus jamais servi mais le badge autoroute télépéage qui va avec est bien pratique.
pour les autres voitures je saurai pas te dire.il semble que la plupart du temps les possesseurs de #VE chargent a domicile lentement (3kw) et que ça suffit
