I have an old Core 2 Duo desktop with 8Gb ram that I use as a fileserver and for occasional linux tinkering. I was considering replacing it entirely. But with the rampocalypse upon us and my general cheapa**ery, I settled on upgrading it to a Core 2 Quad with a secondhand used chip.
I may come to regret this as I always do when I *fix* something that isn't broken.

Ummm... fine? Better than a Hostel.
The guy next to me seemed to be living in his capsule, so there was stuff littering the stairs. He was also listening to things out loud, and started faffing about with something at 2am.
But i don't think that's the hotels fault.
The air was quite dry, and it was a little too warm. But all in all, not bad!
Rather terrible photo of the capsule I slept in (or "cocoon" they call it).
It's about 7ft long, and you can sit up in it. Kinda all you need for a simple night sleep.
Off to London for the work Christmas work party!
I’ll be staying over in a Capsule Hotel, which I’ve never done before.
Why?
Because it’s an experience.
And it was £35 for the night in central London.

Hand tools vent. Maybe this will save someone some grief and #expense if they find it with a search.
Wiha - great drivers & bits. Love 'em. Well-machined, good tough tool #steel.
But their needlenose pliers? Rubbish. I have a set of full-sized needlenose, plus their "micro" set. With both of them there's too much slop in the joint, so the jaws are never quite aligned. I don't recall if they were bad right out of the packaging, but I certainly noticed it within the first handful of usages. I have the full sized "standard" / linesman-type pliers as well, but you don't tend to notice slop because of the much shorter jaws.
Wiha's micro-needlenose pliers are no better than - or even noticeably worse than - #cheap #Chinesium ones I have.
Save your money.
