Less today, but still a strong steady wind. There were a bunch of horseshoe crab shells that washed up on the beach. Not sure you can see them in this video. They shed their shells multiple times in their first years and then once a year thereafter.

We cleaned native baby oyster cages yesterday (needs to be done every two weeks to keep the oysters healthy). The oysters will stay in the cage for a year, and then be "planted" (oystered?) at sites around the bay. #savethebay #chesapeakebay #oyster #oystergarden

If you’re on the #easternshore this weekend,check out the downrigging festival’s fleet of Tall Ships on the Chester River. The festival draws a great crowd. I personally enjoy the festival by #boat to avoid the crowds!
