(3/3) Going to an #Asian restaurant, I can maybe get sweet and sour pork, which is similar to one in Singapore. However, #chickencurry is something that I could never get the same of overseas. The taste is just not there, especially the #spice and everything, which makes it a shame that I could not get it while studying.

(2/3) From my experience of living in #singapore , I used to eat a lot of mixed vegetables rice, and 2 of the side dishes I always ordered were sweet and sour pork/chicken and #chickencurry Surprisingly, I found it hard to get the same type of sweet and sour pork overseas, especially the chicken curry.

Fun with Gastric Bypass Life. I had a nice dinner. Chicken curry, a little white rice, and a little sweet potato. Nice. Maybe 5-6 ounces of food in total. No problems. My stomach was happy. No foamies, no discomfort, all was right with the world.

20 minutes later, without warning, I puked up the whole thing.

Sure I lost 220 pounds and I wouldn’t change a thing and it was 100% absolutely worth every side effect I have to deal with, but… the fuck?

So what do I put on the no fly list? The chicken curry and the sweet potatoes were the same color (approximately) so which one caused the problem? I don’t know.

Family day meal prep. Curry Chicken always tastes better the next day. I made fresh naans for the first time and was surprised at how easy it was. This was a test batch to see if anything needed to be tweaked before tomorrow's fresh batch with garlic butter. Simple to cook in a cast iron pan.

So dinner tonight was awesome! My wife did a really good job. I had the chicken curry, with four cheese, mashed potatoes on the side, and to make it a little interesting, I went ahead and put some spicy ranch dipping sauce that was originally meant for chicken over the mashed potatoes. #Food #ChickenCurry.

Think I will have some chicken curry for dinner tonight. It has been a while since I’ve had it, so I’m not sure if I will still like it, but I’m willing to give it a chance! #ChickenCurry.

Cooking my Mummy's recipe #ChickenCurry and #BasmatiRice - bonus is my house smells properly like home.

I'm not the tidiest cook so I've got #haldi splodges all over me and lil ouchy burns from the spitting oil but I have a deep sense of satisfaction.

I'll post pics up later when it's done. Smells absolutely gorgeous and it is so, so, SO far from takeaway / white people's curries. I wish non-#SouthAsians could taste the real thing just once.
