I also spent time with the Roland CR78, Behringer RD78 & RD6 (TR606) drum machines, through effects.
Next was building interesting chord progressions. Not typical, and with the progression over 12 bars. Those chords are played on the Fender Chroma, which extensions and decorations are played on a pair of Roland JP-08 polychained (replicating a complete Jupiter 8).
Some parts are sequence gated on an odd 9 over 16.

I was expecting something with a lot more dissonance when I initially lay the key down.
After all, I needed 26 chords (potentially, here in practice the message doesn't use all the letters of the alphabet).

I working on putting chords in a score tonight from a "real" fake book. There are chord symbols that I (or my music major) wife have never seen. I found a great resource for pulling apart the chords so I can put them in the score. Wow.
