Wrote a brief outline of a short story set in the "Francesca and Richard" milieu today. I already had over a 1000 words "in the can", but I needed to #clarify.

America in the 1820s. 2 characters from the first book set the scene. We then move to another State where the main characters in the short story interact to create the problem that the rest of the tale has to resolve.

One protagonist (female) has her own business ideas; the other (male) is tempted to return to England. Who will prevail?
