The part of Texas where I live, close to Houston, it used to be uncommon to have freezing temperatures. 2010 may have been the only time that decade that we had snow, if memory serves. Now it seems to be a normal part of Southeast Texas' climate. I woke up to see on my FOSS Android weather app that it was 33° Fahrenheit.
Climate justice will never be handed to us from above. We will build it with our own hands from the fences they put up to keep us out.

Last night, we said here and no further. Our activists dismantled fences to liberate the walking path, and sabotaged heavy machinery to stop the destruction of St Fitticks Park. Using fences designed to lock out the local community, we took them down, and repurposed them to build structures making vehicles access more difficult.
