@palfrey @miyuru @dwm I disagree, unless you have a Provider-Independent IP Address Range or already have a Multichannel-/Multi-WAN - VPN setup , at which point you'd still want DNS-based round robin because it'll make it easier to just add/remove IPs based off availability.

• Heck you'd propably be able to automate that with good providers like #ClouDNS using their #Monitoring option.

I never had issues with #ClouDNS as #Registrar nor #Contabo for hosting, but I've always seen issues with the likes of #Hetzner, which was so bad I had multiple [fmr.] customers/employers invest into their own hardware and housing instead of using their VPSes, cuz Hetzner can't even be assed to wipe / delete virtual drives...
